Reality TV
I had a good time with my favorite reality TV game show today, What’s for Lunch. It’s this game where there’s always plenty of food around: leftovers in the fridge, some frozen meats and vegetables and a stocked pantry. The goal is to make a meal of it. It has to be something apetizing and well balanced. I’d say I did pretty well today, strating with some left-over pork caserole. I added frozen corn on the cob, grilled on the George Foreman, and some left-over congealed salad. A balanced meal it was, but not very fresh tasting. I would have done better to replace that salad with a can of fruit from the pantry.
On second thought, I don’t think that would make a very good TV show.

Escher whoa.
This guy is such a nerd. I am completely blown away. Scroll on down to the really exciting stuff. I’m all like whoa. I never did anything like that with my Legos.
Eyelash Vanity
Since someone recently commented on my beautiful long lashes, I have become quite eyelash vain overnight. Suddenly I’m spending long hours in front of my magnifying mirror, separating and thickening before I use my eyelash curler. I’ve searched all the local pharmacies and department stores for the perfect eyelash brush. My mascara provides the perfect balance of thickness without clumping or spikiness. I practice batting my eyelashes without completely closing my eyes, so that I can see what I look like in the mirror. Eyelash vanity isn?t a sin, is it? I can?t help it if I?m beautiful.

The Best Part of Waking Up
My coffee this morning tasted like moist dirt.
The day got better from there.

Hoarders
Wow. Remember that guy in NY not too long ago who was crushed under a stack of old magazines he had in his apartment?
There was just a story on CNN about hoarders. Scary. No really.
Four-way Tie
Wow! I never knew this before, but in 2002, I recieved three votes for NCSU Student Body President. This actually put me in a four-way tie for 4th place! (depending on exactly how you crunch the numbers)
You can view the election results here.
If you’re concerned about seeing only 2 votes for me as student body president, you’ll have to scroll down to see an additional vote for “Brad Douglas Parker.”
I also got significant write-ins for Union Board of Directors, Student Media Authority Board, and Senior Class Vice President. That shows what a strong message can be sent by a dedicated grass-roots campaign effort.

Home Again
I’m back in Williamston. I get to play with my computer again. 🙂
So I like personal websites, especially if they’re made by someone I know or someone local, who probably knows everybody I know. If you know of such a site that I should think is really cool, link it on the comment thingy or on the Phorum.

Snow
Just because it snows every time I come to Raleigh does not mean that I am the cause of it.
I just have bad luck. Or something.
So I created a message board/forum. Use/abuse it as you will.

Today’s Scribbles
Hi. I’m in Raleigh again. It’s a bit of an inconvenient situation. I don’t really live here, but I should. So wherever I am, I’m inconvenienced.
I think I need to get Jesse and Marf a message board so they can more freely insult each other — and so we can all read about it. They obviously aren’t getting enough quality time together.
Love you guys. I’ll see you soon.
