Imagine that a dog is trained to carry a box of three 8mm tapes. These tapes each contain 7 gigabytes. The dog can travel at 18km/hour. For what range of distance does the dog have a higher data rate than a transmission line whose data rate (excluding overhead) is 150Mbps (mega bit per second)?

It’s putting a soundtrack on your life. That and putting yourself in a sensual bubble where other things are less real, yet you’re so much more aware of their movements and the art and music in them.
