PS

Maybe I should also note that this is probably the least effective means of getting a date that I can think of.

Wow. Nine of you have filled out the girlfriend application, and two-thirds of you are actually girls. Pretty exciting for me. However, I’m afraid that you guys just really like filling out forms. (The three guys on the list support that fear.) But that’s cool. At least you’re filling out my form.
In case you’re curious, here’s a little info on the applicants:
One of my applicants has dated me before, so it must not have been too bad.
With the exception of James (who is a dirty liar — and a boy) you are all right handed.
Four of you flat-out refuse to be a sandwich.
I’ve never met three of you, never spoken to two, and have absolutely no idea who one of you is.
Applications are still being processed. I must make sure you are informed, though, that I come on an as-is basis.

I feel dirty. I’m going to study now.

Since some of you I realize did not have a resume or want add prepared, there is now an HTML based girlfriend application. I really can’t say any more about that.
I feel shamed.
Thank you Robyn for designing most of this and for foiling my laziness. You’re a way cool chick. If you’re ever visiting Raleigh, you can completely be my girlfriend for the day.

It’s that time again!

I woke up this morning with a paper to write, some homework assignments to finish, and some pretty nasty specimen in the refrigerator. Guess which one of those got attention.
Happy Birthday, Katie Boyd!! I heart you.
And thank you, Marf, for your spectacular undercover work in getting me this really hot background.

82 friggin degrees today. I never thought that living in an unairconditioned dorm would be a problem in November. Looks like it’ll be in the 70’s next week, too. I’m going to vacation in the mountains….or something.

As I left for class this morning, I poured some orange juice into my Nalgene bottle. Grabbed a couple of biscuits at the atrium and sat down to breakfast. Nursing from my lexan jug, I thought to myself, “Tropicana Pure Premium Grovestand Style….Heavenly.” I seriously considered skipping class and just going back to my room to finish off that carton.
Instead of having lunch between classes, I got all dressed up and went to the PAMS career fair, specifically to talk to the people from SAS who of course were not there. The SAS table was completely abandoned. Silly. So, when I got out of class at three thirty, three day old sushi was sounding good to me. Still, if I’d had a sandwich on me, I would have given it to that girl walking in front of me first.
Now my arm is a bit sore and stiff from the flu shot. Student Health must have given out 1000 of those today, at least. But then I wonder, with all the orange juice I’m drinking, and with everybody around me immune to the flu, why did I get a shot, too? PEER PRESSURE!!

A day in the park

I went to Pullen Park with Amu this week. There’s a new statue of Andy Griffith and that kid who played Opie over there. Fun day in the park.

Well, there it is. Something different. Something darker. Something with some (graphics). Enjoy it while it lasts. I really don’t like it.

Maybe I’ve told you I’m graduating in December. Maybe I’ve mentioned that I don’t really have any plans after that. So, if you know of any job openings in software engineering, especially in the Florida/California/Manhattan/RDU area (okay, I’m not that picky), tip me off. Or, if your dad, like, owns a multinational corporation or something, just slip him a copy of my resume.
As a side note, I’m also accepting applications for a girlfriend. Act now while I’m unemployed and in low demand!

Happy Halloween

So I took a quick run up and down the Franklin Street last night. I should have just watched a scary movie. Interesting things that happened? Two girls I met at a SpencerAcuff concert, both dressed as Tom Cruise from Risky Business accosted me. The guy wearing Daryl’s boots relieved himself on the sidewalk next to the aforementioned Daryl. And we got pretty lost looking for the street. Here’s a picture of a naked guy. Oh. The naked cowboy was there, too. nudist in training
