Just in case you were wondering, the cheapest gas in Raleigh is on S. Saunders Street (70/401/50) south of the belt line. This week it’s hovering around $1.84 at one of several competing stations. The cheapest this morning is at the Hess just inside Garner, at 1.839.

Just to mix things up, I think I’ll start wearing a lot of gel in my hair.

I went to Charlotte today. I can’t tell you what I did there. Now I’m back. The marvels of modern transportation. I think that road trip was too short.

Will someone please direct me to a place where it’s not Monday?

Is there a whole army of chicken chefs? Does excellent chicken qualify you for a rank advancement. I know we’ve got Colonel Sanders and General Tso. There’s got to be a Major Hernandez’s Chicken somewhere.

[Next random thought] Looks like summer is really here now. Things are slowing down. Christy is gone to D-vegas (sad day) and all the rest of my friends are at the beach. Horay for year-round school!!!

This is silly.

I had my first day of school today. For the most part, I hung out with a third grade class and got a good idea of how things work at Timber Drive. The kids are so cute. I’m going to have fun.
