I showed up about 10 minutes late and spent the whole time trying to catch up with my pace group, but since I’ve been too busy to run for the past week, I was determined to go out. Bonus: It was the Halloween run, so about half of the group was costumed. My favorite was the three convicts and the police officer running this 5.4 mile loop around Alexandria. And I got a free t-shirt for showing up in my superhero duds.

North Alexandria/Shirlington Loop
I might start posting my running loops. It’ll at least give me a way to keep up with them.
Here is tonight’s 5.2 mile loop.

You are invited into a room. There are 10,000 boxes. One of them will kill you, the others contain $1,000. How many would you open?

Why I don’t drink coffee at home: If I’m alert enough to make coffee, then I don’t need coffee. This makes it a real challenge when I do need coffee. I can’t tell you how many times I walk down to the office coffee pot in the mornings, eyes half closed, realize I can’t just pour coffee into my cupped hands, and walk back down to my office for my mug.

Basic Training Pictures
I just put up a few pictures from the Frontline Fall Retreat which was back in September. Just a few clicks I made with my camera and a few of me riding back provided by some good friends. Thanks to Ryan for driving while Rich took pictures with Rachel’s camera. It was fun riding with y’all.
