Thanks to TVU, which pretty much rocks, I have discovered a new band. Eisley totally gets inside my head — even if they do weird me out a little bit. I guess I’m thinking “The Cranberries get stuck in Wonderland.” Anyway, you can hear some of their music on their website.

Christian Music at Work
I’m in love with ChrisitanTuner.com. After searching all over the internet for radio stations that aren’t blocked by our company firewall, ChristianTuner lists a host of Christian rock stations, most of which I can get at work. Now my only problem is choosing which station I want to listen to. I wish I could get one of these stations in my car.

Wolfpack Webcam
I just found out there are two live streaming webcams at NC State. This one in front of D.H. Hill Library covers a good part of the Brickyard, the center of student activity at NCSU. Looks like you’d be able to get a good view of Gary when he’s out sharing the good news.
This camera shows some pretty active construction around what I believe is “The Quad,” which at least used to consist of Becton, Berry, and Bagwell Residence Halls; a cafeteria, and a c-store. The c-store disappeared and became whatever that is in the center of the camera. Who doesn’t like big trucks, though?

Still not a morning person
I just spent 15 minutes looking for my keys. Then, I found them in my pocket.

New Photo Gallery
I’ve got a new photo gallery now. Go over and visit it. You can send e-cards to your friends, too. You want to do that.
New Cable Channels
I got a letter from my cable company last week. At the top are inch-high letters reading “EXCITING NEWS! NEW ADDITIONAL CHANNELS!”
Below it describes them: Jewelry TV, Tennis Channel, HorseRacingTV, and TV Games (another horse racing channel). It bothers me that the channels are actually broadcast.
Before adding these exciting new options, I only had about 400 channels that I never watch. Now make that 404. I called and had my cable service discontinued yesterday.

Make a Meatball
I was watching Oprah the other day, as she talked about some of her favorite foods. Among them was this Turkey Meatball from Trattoria Mollie. I used this recipe as inspiration for the pork sausage meatballs I made tonight. And since I didn’t really follow the recipe, I can’t speak for the Polpette alla Mollie exactly, but I can say these were good. So go make a meatball! This means you, too Kelly. I’ll be glad to try your recipe for a fabulous meatless ball if you have one.

Friday’s Thought
I think my favorite line from HomestarRunner.com is
“A modestly hot girl to get me through the hard times. You know the kind that are only sorta hot, so they don’t mess around with other guys.”
As a side note, the music on this one was written and performed by They Might Be Giants
