Leaving straight from commencement, Perry had me convinced that it would be a good idea to go to Atlanta to see Sondre Lerche. So, 8 hours south, we had the joy of seeing mono open for Sondre.
I lost all respect for Japan. It was surely the worst band I’ve ever seen. 4 songs. They all sounded exactly alike. They all were painfully loud, and boring. That chick playing the bass needs to be fed.
Well, anyway Sondre was cool. Cool enough to drive to Atlanta for? No. But I had decided that before I left. Going on a roadtrip is always worth the effort. And then there was the short girl, “Buckner,” who, having had too much to drink, pointed up at me and said “You look like my neighbor, but you’re not.”
