In from atlanta at 6:15am, I had time for an hour nap before church. And I couldn’t sleep! Well, soon enough, I did, but not as soon as I would have liked. I fell immediately into REM and that scary dream where everybody’s laughing at me because I’m not wearing any pants. However, sleep and scary dreams is better than no sleep at all.
Buzzzzzzz
Into the shower, into shirt and tie, out the door.
Back in the door to put on pants.
And back out. I’m a greeter for the 8:15 service at Providence. “Good morning.” “Hi, good to see you.” “Sluuurrrp!” I stopped on the way to church and filled my Nalgene with Irish Creme coffee from the Gate station.
Perhaps I overdid it. Two worship services and a college bible study later, the caffiene still had me hopping. …So, out to lunch with Jesse and the girls. Then….SUPER TARGET! Well, how happy is that? Super Target is soooo cool. Well, by 4pm, I was ready to crash, and I did. I’m not going to go into how the phone kept ringing and waking me up, but I will say that for inexplicable reasons, I went to see “The Matrix: Reloaded” – again. Better the second time, perhaps because I had lower expectations. I think I’ve gotten my fix now.
That’s it. Because it’s monday, and that means there’s a new Strong Bad cartoon.
